This week Mickey sits with the incredibly talented Wax Owls. After meeting on a bandmate blind date in 2020, Gerry and Chris, both attorneys, left their 9 to 5's to pursue something more fulfilling. Since taking the leap the band has released several original songs, played shows across the country and had major placements in television shows such as Love Is Blind and Grey's Anatomy.

Just hours before their set on the opening night of Alexz Johnson's Seasons tour, Gerry and Chris discuss their favorite and least favorite aspects of pursuing music, the stories behind their impactful lyrics, the new single Overpriced Buffets, their upcoming self produced EP and so much more!
